This clinic is for wrestlers and other combat athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Coach Nathanimal will teach you how to set up your leg attacks and finish your takedown!!

Set-Ups - Learn how to get past your opponents head, hands, arms & hips to 
attack their legs.

Finishes - Learn basic-to-world class finishes for leg attacks.

Shot Recovery - Learn how to finish a bad shot! If they spawl, this system will give you various options to get the takedown!!

Coach Nathanimal will be the instructor for this clinic!!

Wrist Half

  • Basic > Grab 4 fingers > Run the wrist > Half, palm up for depth, wrist to spine > Burry the shoulder > Lower to chest to chest > Sink the half, forehead to the mat.

  • Bail the Hay aka Lift & Swing (from the belly)

  • Bail the Hay knee front and pop (from the base) (Mitch Clark)

Arm-Bar aka Chicken Wing Set-ups

  • T-out to Hammer Lock > Thread the needle to Icepick

  • Head Lever (Opponent belly down) Video Link fwd to 3:16 (Logan Stieber)

  • Hand Grab to Hammer-Lock  > Thread the needle to Icepick

  • High-thigh leg ride > (stay square) use guillotine set-up to obtain Arm-Bar Video Link fwd to 5:30 (Logan Stieber)

  • Wrist Curl > Elbow in the shoulder joint Video Link (Logan Stieber)


Arm-Bar Half

  • Run the half > Keep Elbow close to your body > At 90° allow their elbow to slip out > Pull the bar to your chest > Post head to mat > Rotate your arm to collect the free arm > S-Grip >S-Grip obtaining a double chicken wing > If needed, sit out and crank

  • Arm-Bar Half > Bail the Hay aka Lift & Swing (from the belly)

  • W.A.M Arm-Bar Half Roll to Stack

    • Lift in lap > Roll to a popping back arch > Stack

    • High-thigh leg ride > (stay square) use guillotine set-up to obtain Arm-Bar > Shoot knee under rolling to the half side > Roll to a popping back arch > Stack Video Link fwd to 7:00 (Logan Stieber)

Arm-Bar Wrist

  • Burry the shoulder > Hip heist / high leg over to circle towards the head > Drive shoulder into their ear > Knee-Front on the side of the head > Post forehead to the mat (maintain wide knees on the mat) > Rotate your arm to collect the free arm > S-Grip obtaining a double chicken wing > If needed, sit out and crank

Congratulations to all the wrestlers who made it out to this pre-season clinic!

Far-Side Cradle:
Position Points
-- Finish: Knee in the Ribs, Head in the Temple
Near-Side Cradle: Position Points
-- Finish: Circle Down Chest to Chest
-- Finish: Stinger aka Skull Crusher

Single Leg Defense Position
-- Sagging Near-Side Cradle

-- Quadface: Cross-Face with your leg!! (not a cradle)
-- POSITION: Scramblers Trap, Stuffing a shot but not with a sprawl, jamming your quad under the chest with top pressure from your torso.
